Agreement

These terms govern your use of the website operated by Emergency Roof Repair Huntsville, 7738 Madison Blvd #119, Huntsville, AL 35806. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

Separate written terms apply to any roofing work we perform. Where those terms conflict with these, the signed contract for the work takes precedence.

Website content

Content on this site is general guidance about roofing conditions in north Alabama. It is not an inspection of your property and it is not advice about your specific roof, your specific policy or your specific legal position.

Roofs vary. Two houses on the same street with the same builder can have entirely different failures. Do not act on general guidance where a documented inspection is what the situation needs.

We update content periodically but make no warranty that it is current, complete or free of error.

Not insurance or legal advice

We are roofing contractors. We are not public adjusters, insurance agents, or attorneys.

We do not negotiate, adjust or settle insurance claims on a policyholder's behalf. In Alabama, that activity is public adjusting and requires a licence.

Nothing on this site is a representation that a claim will be approved, that particular damage is covered, or that a carrier will pay a particular amount. Coverage is determined by your policy and your carrier.

Estimates and scopes

An estimate or scope of work is valid for the period stated on it and is based on what was visible and accessible at the time of inspection.

Conditions concealed beneath the roof covering, such as decking condition, cannot be known until the covering is removed. Concealed conditions are handled as documented additional work at the unit rates stated in the scope.

No work proceeds without your authorisation.

Emergency work

Emergency dry-in is temporary mitigation intended to prevent further water intrusion until a permanent repair is made. It is not a permanent repair and carries no warranty as one.

Access to a roof during active severe weather, lightning, or where structural integrity is in doubt may be declined on safety grounds. We will always tell you why.

You remain responsible for protecting interior contents and for any interior mitigation or restoration work, which is a separate trade.

All text, layout, graphics, code and photographs on this site are the property of Emergency Roof Repair Huntsville unless otherwise stated, and are protected by copyright.

You may view, download and print pages for your own non-commercial use. You may not republish, redistribute or reproduce content for commercial purposes without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Alabama law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this website.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Madison County, Alabama.
